You have 1 season to sort out the mess, recruit a staff and a whole new team
Season 2 you’ll be overrun by the BoD, shareholders and every cat and dog with an “interest” asking about season 1, and your future plans.
Season 3 the Boosters will expect a perfect record, but will accept 9-3 so long as there is “progress.”
By Season 4 you’ll be tired of the Boosters and Administration questioning your every move and throwing you unsolicited resumes that you have no idea what to do with.
Season 5, assuming your winning record holds up and you have a National Championship in sight, you’ll collect your bonus.
In Season 6, and after seeing all your success, all the High School Players in the country, and those in the transfer portal, will want to play for you provided there is lots of NIL money, aka “Equity.”
Somewhere in there you will have the conversation with yourself that says “Damn! That OEM job was really easy, and I really DID like that Robert Kraft guy.”
